Hobo Johnson & The Lovemakers have announced headline shows on their forthcoming “The Fall Tour”

Following their highly anticipated sold out shows in Melbourne and Sydney earlier this year, Sacramento, CA alternative hip-hop artist, Hobo Johnson and his band, The Lovemakers, have announced headline shows for January 2020, which includes Sydney at Metro Theatre on Friday 3rd,  Melbourne at 170 Russell on Sunday 5th and Adelaide at The Gov on Monday 6th.

Johnson (real name, Frank Lopes Jr) will be touring on the back of his new album, The Fall of Hobo Johnson, released Friday 13 September via Reprise Records/Warner Records. The album includes singles ‘Ugly Kid’ featuring Elohim, “Typical Story” a party for all the misfits who never get invited and current single ‘Subaru Crosstrek XV’.

The album follows 2017’s The Rise of Hobo Johnson – which Frank wrote during a time he had to live out of his ’94 Toyota Corolla – hence his self-given pseudonym. On April 17, 2018, Hobo Johnson released the highly anticipated single ‘Peach Scone’. Hobo Johnson’s ‘Peach Scone’ live performance video gained feverish interest through his entry on NPR’s “Tiny Desk” Contest, which went viral (26million streams to date).

Bursting with unadulterated sincerity with an amalgamation of spoken word poetry, punk, folk and rap  Hobo Johnson continues to captivate with over 90 million global artist streams (over 4 million being Australian).

Select presales will begin on Friday, September 13 at 9.30am AEST. Tickets go on sale to the public starting Monday, September 16 at 4pm local time.
